- Maile Auterson, Springfield Community Garden founder, explains what the Springfield Community Gardens are and where they are heading.
- “What if our whole town fell in love with healthy food, growing food and talking about food,” Auterson said. “Basically, bringing our marbles to the table and spreading them out, saying we have this, what do you have?”
- SCG is trying to bring communities together with over 18 gardens for community members to learn about and love food.
- SCG has partnered with several organizations in Springfield, including Missouri State University, Ozarks Food Harvest and Convoy of Hope.
