- One Million Cups (1MC) was established in Springfield, Missouri in 2014 to encourage business owners to meet, learn from and encourage one another in the business community.
- “No matter what business you find yourself in or what your endeavor happens to be, a strong network of other entrepreneurs who cannot be your clients, but be the wall that you need to bounce ideas off of, or be able to find some solutions to your problems and ask questions so that your business sees the effect of greater intelligence than yourself is a good thing,” said Chad Carleton, a One Million Cups organizer.
- 1MC holds the promise to revitalize, empower, grow and activate communities of entrepreneurs through online curriculum, coaching and experiential learning.
- Chad and Emily Carleton, who regularly attend 1MC meetings, have recently expanded their business into a new building with a larger warehouse for their growing business.
